Evelyn Coulson, a friend of the family, is currently in Florida.  She is anxiously and excitedly awaiting the return of her son from a life changing experience.  Evelyn has been sending emails to Mr. Doug Lake expressing her thoughts and feelings as she watched her son, Col. Terry Virts, launch into space on this latest space mission.  Subsequently, a dream of most young children remains to become an Astronaut, and Col. Terry Virts has fulfilled his dream.  However, being an astronaut is not an easy task.  Col. Virts has been training for many years for this day and this mission.

Born in December 1967 in Baltimore, Maryland, Terry is married to the Stacy Hill of Columbia, Maryland.  They have two children.  Terry enjoys running, baseball, astronomy, photography, and church activities.  His parents reside in Maryland.

We are honored to have an inside glimpse into this mission.  It is our goal to share one man’s aspirations, in hopes of educating and helping other’s fulfill their life long dreams.  We will be posting updates on our web page throughout this “Endeavour Mission.”
